Dr. Andrew Cannestra is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery and spinal cord injury. With a career dedicated to advancing minimally invasive techniques, he served as Director of the Baptist Robotic Spine Surgery Program and is a founding member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery. A Diplomate of the American Board of Neurologic Surgery, Dr. Cannestra also maintains active memberships with the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons, the Congress of Neurologic Surgeons, and the National Association of Spine Surgeons. Dr. Cannestra is widely recognized for tailoring surgical care to each patient’s unique condition and for using the most responsible, minimally invasive approaches.
